אני רושמת הרבה את הבתים בהם התגוררתי. את הרישומים אני עושה מזיכרון, באובססיביות, כבלש של זכרונות ותחושות. בתערוכה זו החלטתי להפוך את היוצרות. במקום שאני ארשום מקום, אתן למקום לרשום את עצמו, כשתפקידי להיות אך ורק המוציאה לפועל. קווים בחלל הלבן, “זינוק אל הריק“ (1).
על שם התערוכה החלטתי עוד לפני שידעתי מה אני מציגה. לפני שנים רבות קראתי את ספר המלחמה ׳מעתה ועד עולם׳ (2) של ג׳יימס ג׳ונס. הספר והשם שלו נשארו איתי. הגיבור, החייל פריביט, הוא חצוצרן הגדוד. במפגשו הראשון עם החצוצרה ״נדמה לו שחצוצרה זו היא דבר־מה שבקדושה... הוא ידע אז שאם יוכל לנגן בחצוצרה כפי שיש לנגן בה - מצוא ימצא בכך את הטעם בחייו ואת משמעותם״. תיאור מדויק מה היא אמנות (3).
הסרט שעשו לפי הספר לא טוב כמוהו, אך מאפשר להכנס לאוירה. וממנו בחרתי כמה פריימים כשהמבט הוא הדבר, נקודת מפנה. מבט המבשר את העתיד. הביטוי ׳מעתה ועד עולם׳ ישנו לרוב בספר תהילים ובתפילות. ׳יהיה שם ה׳ מבורך מעתה ועד עולם׳ וכו.
מענין החיבור בין קדושה למלחמה. כמו החיבור בין קדושה לאהבה, ארוטיקה, אמנות, אוכל.
׳עולם׳ זה מקום, אבל גם זמן. לנצח, לעולם, תמיד.

ve lived in. I make the drawings from memory, obsessively, as a ׳ I sketch a lot the houses I
detective of memories and feelings. In this exhibition I decided to turn the tables. Instead of me sketching a place, I will let the place sketch itself, me being solely the executor. Lines in the white space, ”leap into the void”1.

I decided on the name of the exhibition even before I knew what I was exhibiting. Many years ago I read the war book ”From Here to Eternity”2 by James Jones. The book and its name stayed with me. The hero, Private Robert E. Lee Prewitt, is the regimental trumpeter. In his first encounter with the trumpet “it seems to him that this trumpet is something sacred... He knew then that if he could play the trumpet the way it should be played, he would find the meaning of life.” An accurate description of Art 3.
The movie, based on the book, is not as good as the book, but it enables us to feel the atmosphere. I chose some frames from the movie, in which the look is the thing, a turning point. A look that heralds the future.
The phrase From Here to Eternity is often found in the book of Psalms and prayers. “May God’s name be blessed from now on and forever” etc.
The connection between holiness and war, like the connection between holiness and love, erotica, art, and food is interesting.
‘World’ is a place, but also time, Forever, ever, or always
